Time For Zero Hunger (Expo Milano 2015)

"It begins with me. How the world can end hunger in our lifetime" was the theme of the Sunday 6 September Expo Milano event that saw the participation of singer and ONE.org co-founder Bono, Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, Italian and Irish Ministers of Agriculture Maurizio Martina and Simon Coveney, and the Director of the World Food Programme Ertharin Cousin participated in an event organised by the governments of Italy and Ireland in support of the United Nations World Food Programme.

The event aimed to raise attention for hunger and to trigger a global discussion around the actions that governments, civil society, private sectors and individuals should undertake to make the goal of ending hunger in our lifetime a realistic and possible objective.
