South Sudan’s Displaced See Little Hope For Peace

Since the start of the conflict in December 2013, more than 2 million South Sudanese have been internally displaced or sought refuge in neighbouring countries. Recent peace talks have been unsuccessful and fighting has intensified increasing the number of people affected. “I am calling on the world, if you have the power to talk to our brothers, who are South Sudanese like us, to give peace a chance,” said Mary Nyachoat, who now lives in one of the settlements for internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Bor.
